Freemasonry is a journey both internal and physical.. The travels of a Freemason across land and sea only stands to deepen and expand the personal journey of masonry through those fraternal bonds created while abroad..

The Lodge of St Matthew No. 539 was consecrated 16 April 1847 and is affiliated to the Province of Staffordshire under the United Grand Lodge of England.

Our brethren from across the pond took it upon themselves to visit St. Matthews Lodge in 2000. From this initial visit a fraternal bond was created in which members of both lodges have taken the time while traveling for either business or pleasure to stop in and offer warm fraternal greetings. St. Matthews looks forward to welcoming back the members of Lodge of St Matthew to our upcoming 200 year celebration.

The members of St. Matthew are a well traveled group. Please take a moment to view some member submitted photos of lodges from around the world that have been visited…
